Less than two hours north from Auckland, New Zealand’s biggest city and close to the entrance of the picturesque Whangarei Harbour, lies Marsden Cove, a creatively master planned coastal township that has set the benchmark for marine / coastal development within New Zealand.

At the heart of Marsden Cove is a 230 berth marina which offers International crusing yachts a NZ Customs Port of Entry facility as well as a comprehensive range of services ashore.

When completed, Marsden Cove with its views across the harbour to the distinctive peaks of mt manaia, will provide Northland’s most desirable waterfront destination.

Boating, sailing, fishing, diving, surfing, relaxing... you choose.

Northland’s temperate climate and beautiful coastline dotted with islands and sandy beaches make Marsden Cove a very attractive destination for those who enjoy marine recreation. Whangarei’s natural deep water harbour offers a huge inland waterway to fish, water ski or cruise in sheltered water.

Venture outside the harbour entrance and there are any number of islands and beaches to visit. If you prefer to surf or stroll, Bream Bay’s beautiful 23km long ocean beach is only minutes (3km) away.

As Marsden Cove’s canal precincts take shape residents and holiday makers will have several kilometres of water to swim, kayak or cruise in the relative safety.
