Construction of the marina begins and berths are scheduled to be available prior to Christmas 2006.

The contractor for the supply and installation of marina infrastructure is Bellingham Marine Ltd of Auckland.

A “Buyer’s Choice” auction held on site today (Saturday April 30, 2005) resulted in the sale of 52 sites in just two hours with a total value of just under $30 million.
