Beach & Boat Fishing Competition

The Beach & Boat Fishing Competition is two days of fishing and three days of fun. Based in the beautiful Bream Bay, the Whangarei Race Course venue offers 50ha of beachfront land that provides the perfect venue. The combination of a supportive community (over 150 volunteers assist) and one of New Zealands’prime fishing locations, has turned this Tournament into New Zealands’ largest in just two years. This is the “everymans” Tournament that celebrates our varied recreational fishing community. For those serious fisho’s, the opportunity to not only explore an exciting coastline but also win from a huge prize pool, sponsored by leaders in New Zealands’ fishing/boating industry, is too tempting to resist.
It doesn’t matter if your boat is big or small, your rod old or new, or if you are young or old – you are guaranteed a great weekend. Join the other entrants who travel from all over New Zealand and overseas for a weekend you’ll be marking on your calendar every year!!!
